Social Welfare Advisory Committee

This Committee advises the Government through the Secretary for Labour and Welfare on all social welfare policy matters and keeps social welfare services under continuous review. The chairman and members of the Committee are non-officials appointed by the Chief Executive. The Secretary for Labour and Welfare or his representatives and the Director of Social Welfare attend meetings of the Committee.
