Caring for the Elderly

Caring Week – Build a Community with Care and Social Inclusion

  • To promote the message of caring for the elderly, children and underprivileged groups, the District Social Welfare Office orchestrated the “Caring Week” campaign from 14 November 2022 to 20 November 2022.  The campaign garnered a highly positive responses, with a total of 32 welfare service units participated, encompassing family and child, youth, elderly and rehabilitation services.  Through a diverse array of activities including exhibitions, mobile service counters, talks, workshops, visits, etc., the campaign effectively fostered a greater sense of empathy among residents towards the underprivileged, while fostering a community that values compassion and social inclusion.
