Publicity Campaign on Strengthening Families and Combating Violence
  • Publicity Campaign with thematic messages of “Love guards the family. Protecting children begins with the family.” was launched to encourage parents and carers to seek early assistance when facing stress and difficulties so as to avoid resorting to violence against family members.
  • In collaboration with Commission on Children, Hong Kong Police Force and NGOs, promotional and education programmes were organised to raise public awareness on child protection and prevention of domestic violence. 
  • The 11 District Social Welfare Offices had run 1 942 public education programmes and activities accounting for number of attendance of 54 586.
