Publicity Campaign on Strengthening Families and Combating Violence
  • In 2022, it was the 20th anniversary of the publicity campaign on “Strengthening Families and Combating Violence”.  SWD organised a series of central publicity campaign and district-based promotional programmes, as well as designating “Child Protection Day” on 20 November 2022 with a view to disseminating the themes of child protection and stopping domestic violence through various channels. 
  • Facebook and Instagram pages named “Heart and Hut” have been set up since November 2020.  In 2022, SWD continued to strengthen the publicity through social media platforms as well as set up the “Heart and Hut” YouTube Channel to promote the message of enhancing family relationships and child protection through various video clips and television and radio Announcements in the Public Interest.
  • 2 067 district-based public education programmes and activities with a total attendance of 53 496 had been organised by the District Social Welfare Offices.
