Highlights of the Year 2019-20

Since March 2005, 13 rounds of regular portion application and 6 rounds of dedicated portion application under the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged have been launched.  For the regular portion, as at 31 March 2020, matching grants of about $479 million had been allocated to 200 welfare NGOs for carrying out 998 welfare projects, with donations from more than 1 600 business partners, benefitting more than 1 million disadvantaged persons.  Besides, as at 31 March 2020, about $206 million matching grants from the dedication portion had been allocated to 51 welfare NGOs and 87 schools, with donations from more than 350 business partners, for carrying out 310 welfare projects for the purpose of launching after-school learning and support programmes for primary and secondary students from grassroots families, benefitting more than 100 000 students.
