Invitation for Proposals for Operating “After School Care Programme for Pre-primary Children”

The Social Welfare Department (SWD) is now inviting non-governmental organisations (NGOs)* to submit proposals for operating “After School Care Programme for Pre-primary Children”.

*NGOs refer to bona-fide non-profit making charitable organisations exempted from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, Cap. 112

A briefing session on the invitation for proposals will be held with details as follows –

Applicant NGO shall submit only ONE proposal with information required as per the Service Specifications on (i) the Prescribed Form for Proposal (PFP) and (ii) the Prescribed Form for Implementation Plan of Individual Centre (PFIC) by hand in a sealed envelope by 5:00 p.m. on 16 August 2024 (Friday) to –

In case a black rainstorm warning is issued, tropical cyclone warning signal no. 8 or above is hoisted or extreme condition is announced anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the invitation closing date, the closing time for submission of proposals will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on the first ensuring working day without further announcement.

SWD reserves the right not to assess any information in the proposal or not to proceed with the vetting of the proposal should the Applicant fails to comply with the format requirements.
