Working Group on the Review of Ordinances and Codes of Practice for Residential Care Homes
Working Group on the Review of Ordinances and Codes of Practice for Residential Care Homes held 19 meetings between June 2017 and May 2019 and put forward 19 recommendations. Two of the recommendations were taken forward by the relevant codes of practice which took effect from January 2020. Three other recommendations confirmed that the prevailing requirements did not require any changes. The remaining 14 recommendations have to be implemented by legislative amendments.
